• A class in which 6th grade students have 9 weeks to explore various aspects of computer technology to create mindful artifacts of their learning.
  • This course is designed to develop students skills on the alphabetic keyboard and the numeric keypad. The major emphasis in this course will be keyboarding technique. Application will focus on word processing skills for school and/or personal use.


  • 6th. Grade Science is an exploratory class. General Science topics are addressed. Earth History, to include sedimentary rocks, erosion, earth time line, volcanos and weather. Planetary Science explores space and those objects that orbit in our solar system. Cellular Biology introduces students to the plant and animal cell, their organelles and functions. Beginning microscope use also occurs during this section. Motion and Forces examines Newton's Laws of motion as well as energy and resources.

  • Paragraphs With Power

    This course will help you improve your paragraph writing skills. We will develop and practice writing paragraphs. Main ideas, topic sentences, supporting sentences, and clincher sentences will be examined. We will also learn about run on sentences and sentence fragments.
