- Students will learn the importance of good nutrition and the benefits of physical activity.
- This course will provide an introduction to the Saxon phonics sight words that we expect kindergarteners to know in kindergarten. There are five that they must know that are on the word analysis checklist but there are actually 23 that we introduce throughout the lessons.
- Students will read and listen to stories, watch videos, read weekly readers, and get online to use wikipedia to research the lives of 10 famous Black Americans. They will then complete activities describing the lives and accomplishments of these individuals.
- This course contains information for elementary fitness. Articles on childhood fitness, proper exercise technique and journal entries are included.
- In this course students will learn various symbols and facts about the state of Kansas. They will demonstrate their knowledge by completing a matching activity, a writing activity, and playing an online game
- In this unit, you will be learning the structural characteristics and behaviors of the African Dwarf Frog. You will be exploring the relationship between the frog and its habitat and will also be learning different ways that animal behaviorists study animals.
- You will practice your spelling words in a variety a fun ways. When you are finished, you should be a SUPER SPELLER!
- The student will study two nursery rhymes, "There Was A Crooked Man," and "Hickory Dickory Dock."
